He’s being sought following a burglary and separate public order incident, both in Banbury
Thames Valley Police is appealing for our help in tracing a man who is wanted in connection with burglary and racially aggravated public order incidents in Banbury.
Thirty-one year old Thomas Butler is being sought following a burglary in Ruscote Avenue on February 17 and a racially aggravated public order incident on Orchard Way on April 7.
Butler is sometimes known ‘Tommy’. He’s around 5ft 6ins tall and of slim build and is known to frequent the Banbury area.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Sophie Smith, said: “Enquiries have been ongoing to locate Thomas Butler in relation to these incidents but we are now appealing for the public’s help.
“If you see Butler, do not approach him and call 999 instead. If you know where he is or may have seen him, please call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240076730.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
