Free activity sessions for children

Children get to enjoy themselves as Active Leaders are assessed
Parents looking for something to help keep their children occupied next week can sign-up for one of two free activity sessions running in Bodicote – both of which will help young people complete an assessment enabling them to become Active Leaders.
Cherwell District Council is looking for children aged between 5 and 11 years to take part in the sessions which will feature multi skill games.
The Council is training a group of 14 and 15 years olds as Active Leaders and as part of their assessment they need to be watched in a real-world environment.
There are two sessions planned – next Wednesday (August 14) for an hour at 11.30am and from 11.15am next Friday. Parents can stay for the session, but don’t have to.
All sessions will be supervised by the Council’s Youth Activators and will take place inside Bodicote village hall.
Limited places are available. These can be booked here.
