A-Level results: Warriner
15/08/2024
Students will now head for university courses in areas such as medics, criminology, neuroscience, engineering and historical archaeology
At the Warriner School in Bloxham over half of all A Level students achieved an A*, A or B grade. Seven of them received A* or A grades across all their subjects.
Staff and students gathered at the school this morning to celebrate the results, with the school delighted that over a fifth of its students achieved an A* or an A grading.
The next step education choices for students from the school will enable careers in medics, criminology, neuroscience, engineering, historical archaeology, animation and law, as well as the more traditional sciences, humanities, maths and English.
Head of School, Sharon Nicholls, said: “As staff we are very proud of our sixth form students and their results.
“To achieve A Level success – whatever that may mean to each individual student – involves two years of academically challenging study, ending with a rigorous suite of exams, and this takes hard-work, resilience and 100% commitment from the students and they have all found success in their own way.”
Dr Annabel Kay, Executive Headteacher, added: “We wish them all well on their onward educational journey.”
