Tree pruning underway in Brackley
27/08/2024

The exercise keeps the trees to a suitable height and removes lower branches
Work on trimming the trees in Brackley High Street has begun today.
Experts will be pollarding and crown lifting – a method of pruning that will keep the trees smaller than they would naturally grow, whilst removing some of the lower branches.
To facilitate the work some of the parking spaces in the High Street between Buckingham Road and Burwell Hill won’t be available.
Its anticipated it will take until mid-September to complete work on the trees, which will be undertaken between 7am and 4pm.
