Man charged after early hours Banbury stabbing

He’s been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article
A Banbury man has been charged in connection with the stabbing which occurred in the town during the early hours of last Sunday morning.
Police were called to the junction of Butchers Row and High Street at 12.20am after a man in his twenties was found with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital.
Forty-six year old Niko Gjika of McKeevor Place has today been charged with Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article.
Gjika has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
