Morrisons raising money for children’s hospice
27/09/2024
The 54 Challenge concludes at the end of September
This weekend staff and customers at Morrisons Supermarket in Banbury are aiming to conclude a month of fundraising for the Helen and Douglas House Hospice in Oxford on a high.
They are hoping to tip the total they have raised over £3,000.
In store there’ll be a number of fundraising initiatives along with a car and van wash in the car park tomorrow (Saturday). On Sunday a draw will take place to win a trolley load of shopping.
The fundraising efforts are part of a national drive by Morrisons titled the “54 Challenge” – which aims to support the 54 children’s hospices across the country that provide vital care for families with a seriously ill child.
