This year’s event will be held in Lock 29

Banbury & District Chamber of Commerce (BCOC) have announced the return of this year’s BCOC Live! event.

It will bring together business leaders, industry experts, and local entrepreneurs to discuss strategies for growth, adaptation, and resilience under the theme: “Navigating the Future: Thriving in Change.”

The theme is particularly relevant given Banbury’s diverse business landscape and industrious heritage.  From manufacturing and engineering to food production and professional services, Banbury businesses are known for their adaptability and innovation.

BCOC Live! seeks to provide local businesses with the tools and strategies needed to stay ahead of emerging trends and economic shifts.

Derek Hettenbach, Chair of the Chamber, said: “We’re excited to bring BCOC Live! back to Banbury.   This year’s event is all about empowering our local business community to tackle the future head-on, embrace change, and find new ways to grow.

“We have an incredible line-up of speakers and exhibitors, and we’re looking forward to a day filled with learning and connections.”

BCOC Live will be held at Lock29 on October 23 and is being organised in partnership with Castle Quay Shopping Centre and Banbury BID.

The day will offer actionable insights and practical advice to help businesses not just survive but thrive in an ever-evolving market landscape.

Three panel discussions will be included led by industry experts:

  • The Green Advantage: How sustainability practices can fuel business growth and enhance brand loyalty. Hear from local experts from Cleenol Group Ltd, LCMB Building Performance, and Nothing but Footprints.
  • Thriving in Change: Strategies to adapt and innovate amid economic challenges. Put your questions to local experts from HELLA UK and Collins Aerospace.
  • Winning the Talent War: How to attract, retain, and develop top talent for long-term success. Learn from local experts from HELLA UK, Activate Learning and Cinnamon HR Consultancy.

The day will also include a vibrant business exhibition.

HELLA UK are the event’s headline sponsor.   Managing Director Neil Grant said: “For 125 years, we have been at the forefront of innovation and resilience, and we believe events like this are crucial in helping businesses of all sizes navigate today’s challenges. We look forward to sharing our experiences and supporting the Banbury business community.”

Early-bird ticket prices start at just £15 for Chamber members, with all profits supporting the Chamber’s charity partner, The Sunshine Centre.
