Banbury Town Hall weddings from this Sunday
27/11/2024
Up to 80 guests can be accommodated in the Grade II listed building
From this weekend people will be able to get married at Banbury Town Hall. Oxfordshire County Council’s registration service is moving out of its current home in the Old House at Cherwell District Council’s Bodicote headquarters.
The new ceremony room in the Grade II listed Town Hall is larger than the county’s other ceremony rooms and is able to hold up to 80 guests.
Banbury Town Hall is one of seven council-run ceremony rooms, and one of almost 100 approved wedding venues across Oxfordshire.
The day to day activities of the registration team, such as registering births and deaths, and giving notice of marriage or civil partnership, will be undertaken at Samuelson House in Tramway.
