Volunteers sought to help maintain Burton Dassett Country Park

Plenty of fresh air and physical activity is guaranteed!

The Burton Dassett Country Park offers magnificent views across several counties from an unspoilt landscape of rolling hills.

The area was opened as a country park in 1971, covering 100 acres.   Visitors can see the prominent beacon, quarry remains and nearby 12th century All Saints Church.

Volunteers are being sought to join a team who will once a month work alongside the Park Rangers to help maintain and improve the country park.

Sessions are being organised for the first Friday of each month from 9.30am until 2pm, with the first planned for April 4.

Anyone interested in joining in should email Simon Millward at Warwickshire County Council.  Plenty of fresh air and physical activity is guaranteed, whilst contributing to local conservation efforts.
