The Firefighter’s Charity and the Ukraine Refugee Charity will both benefit from the endeavour

A day of giving the area’s cars a good spring clean at Banbury Fire Station has netted £1863.59 for two good causes.   Fire fighters at Banbury Fire Station on Cope Road spent Saturday removing dirt from vehicles in return for a donation.

The cash raised at the car wash will be split between the Firefighter’s Charity and the Ukraine Refugee Charity.

After the amount raised had been totted up the firefighters issued a message of thanks on social media: “Thank you everyone who came down and showed their support”.
