Staff from a Banbury housebuilder used their  volunteering hours for the work

Adderbury based charity The Let’s Play Project has received a colourful refresh, thanks to volunteers from a local housebuilder.

The charity’s activity room and hallway were redecorated by a team from Orbit Homes as part of a makeover to create a brighter, more welcoming space for the children and young people with additional needs who attend the after-school, youth, and holiday clubs.

Brian Nearney, Regional Managing Director at Orbit Homes, said: “We were delighted to use our volunteering hours to help give the Let’s Play Project a little makeover and we hope that the children will enjoy playing here for many years to come.”

Sammy Bates from Let’s Play added: “We count on the support of our local community to make our work possible, and thanks to this amazing redecorating from the Orbit Homes team we can continue to provide a fun, happy and inclusive environment for the children and young people we support.

“The children absolutely love the new look and we can’t wait for more of them to see it.”

The Let’s Play Project supports those aged from 5 to 25 across the area.
