Third man arrested after taxi left embedded in front of house

Three people are now in police custody

A third man has been arrested as police continue to investigate an incident in Banbury which left a taxi embedded in the front of a house on Woodgreen Avenue.

Officers were called shortly after 3.30am on Monday to a report that a vehicle had driven into a car which was parked outside the house.   This caused the car to collide with the property.

This morning a video has appeared on the TikTok platform which appears to show the incident in progress.   Thames Valley Police say they are aware of this footage.

On Monday morning two Banbury men, aged 19 and 28, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.   Its was announced earlier that a third Banbury man, aged 59, was also arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of criminal damage.   All three remain in police custody.

Woodgreen Avenue has now reopened.
