The Katharine House fundraiser generated £50,000 last year
A number of businesses in our area have already signed-up for this year’s Katharine House Hospice Accumulator Challenge, including a raft of teams who are new to the endeavour.
Starting on October 20 the teams will take a £50 seed fund from Katharine House and use this to generate as much money as possible in just four months.
Over the last 8 years over £176,000 has been raised by the Accumulator Challenge – more than £50,000 of that last year.
The new teams signed-up this year include Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance, CPB UK, Brackley Care Home, VPK, Wise Investment and Contact Web, all of whom will be battling to raise the most and win the special newcomer award.
Sue Blank, Corporate Engagement Officer at Katharine House Hospice, said: “We are delighted to have some new faces taking on the challenge. Last year was the most successful challenge in its history and raised over £50,000 for Katharine House, which blew us away! We are so grateful to all the teams taking part and we hope they have lots of fun along the way.”
Businesses, organisations and schools who fancy joining the challenge can still do so by contacting Katharine House’s fundraising team: [email protected].
