Oxfordshire Employment saw a rise in six-month job retention rates to 80 precent
An Oxfordshire service has received national recognition for its work to secure jobs for people with disabilities, health conditions and other significant barriers to work.
Oxfordshire Employment has just had its Supported Employment Quality Framework accreditation renewed.
The Oxfordshire County Council run service was first awarded the kitemark in 2024, and has again been recognised as one of the UK’s leading providers of inclusive employment support.
The follow-up review highlighted progress on its action plan, including a rise in six-month job retention rates from 53 precent to 80 precent.
Councillor Tim Bearder, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care at Oxfordshire County Council, added: “This recognition reflects the hard work and values that underpin our supported employment services.
“Oxfordshire Employment is helping people build confidence, skills, and independence through meaningful work, and that’s something of which we’re incredibly proud.”
The Supported Employment Quality Framework is awarded by the British Association for Supported Employment.
