The Youth of Banbury Operatic Society plan to perform Kipps: The New Half A Sixpence Musical
The search is on to find the area’s next stars of stage. Youngsters aged between 11 and 19 are being invited to join a taster day this Sunday for the Youth of Banbury Operatic Society’s next performance.
Just days after the society’s senior section completed a run of The Mikado, the juniors are now looking for cast members for their next production Kipps: The New Half A Sixpence Musical.
The group, which is affectionately known as the YOBOS, plan to put together the entire show during one week of the school summer holidays. Sunday’s taster day will give anyone interested in being a part of the show a chance to meet the team, take part in activities and find out about their vision for the musical.
The Taster Day will run between 2 and 6 on Sunday afternoon at Christopher Rawlins Primary School in Adderbury.
