Police believe two dog walkers may have witnessed what happened

Witnesses are being sought after a brick was used to smash the window of a Banbury hairdresser’s shop.

The incident happened around 11.15pm on Sunday February 15 at Lords and Ladies Hairdressers, in the block of shops on the corner of Orchard Way and The Fairway.

Its thought that two dog walkers may have witnessed the criminal damage taking place and police are hoping to trace them.

The offender is described as wearing all black clothing.

Investigating officer, PC Hannah Reynolds, said: “I am appealing to anybody who may witnessed this incident or have information that could assist in our investigation to contact Thames Valley Police.

“In particularly, we would like to hear from the two members of the public who were walking their dogs at the time, as they may have valuable information that could help our enquiries.

“Anyone with information can call 101 or make a report online via our website, quoting reference number 43260078225.

 “Alternatively, for anonymity, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
