The female has already been given a 12 week prison sentence

A man who police wanted to speak to in relation to multiple offences and a woman who was sought following a number of shop lifting offences have both been arrested.

Officers from the Banbury Neighbourhood Team were out on foot patrol on Wednesday when they received intelligence that led them to the female.   She was arrested and charged with several offences.   At court yesterday the woman received a 12 week prison sentence.

Separately officers recognised the male in Banbury town centre whilst out on foot patrol.   Whilst he was being arrested he was found to be in possession of cannabis.   This was seized and he was issued with a Community Resolution order, meaning he will have to complete a Drugs Awareness Course.

Writing on social media officers said: “Your local Neighbourhood Team remain committed to keeping Banbury safe and taking action when individuals are wanted by police.”
