Banbury boxer to compete in most prestigious amateur boxing competition in the country

Chris Taylor has become Senior Elite Home Counties under 65kg Champion

An 18 year old Banbury boxer has made it through to the England Boxing National Amateur Championship pre-quarter finals.

Chris Taylor, together with his twin brother Johnny, are known as Banbury’s Boxing twins.

Chris has now won 3 bouts in a row to become Senior Elite Home Counties under 65kg Champion.

The pre-quarter finals are being held at Spiceball Leisure Centre this Saturday and its hoped Banbury will get behind Chris as he competes in the oldest and most prestigious amateur boxing competition in the country.
