The image of a man police would like to speak to has been released
Police are hoping to track down a man following an assault outside Cash Convertors in Banbury late in January, when a victim was punched, causing bleeding, a chipped tooth and bruising.
A picture has been issued of the person officers would like to speak to as its believed he may be able to help with their enquiries.
The assault took place at around 3.57pm on Tuesday January 27. The victim was a man in his late twenties. He didn’t require hospital treatment.
The offender is described as a white male, aged between 30–35 years, approximately 5ft 6ins tall.
A police spokesperson said: “This was a deeply upsetting experience for the victim, and we are taking this incident extremely seriously. We urge anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time to come forward as soon as possible.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference 43260043864. Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
