Man has life changing head injuries after attack in Grimsbury

Two men have been arrested following the assault in the early hours of Friday morning
A man is in hospital with life changing head injuries after being attacked on Middleton Road in Grimsbury this morning (April 29). The victim was found by a member of the public.
Emergency Services were called to reports of an assault at around 1.35am. Both Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service attended.
The victim, who is a man aged in his fifties, was found in the street. He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for further treatment for what are described as life changing head injuries.
The Police have arrested a 42-year-old man from Banbury on suspicion of wounding with intent. A 39-year-old man of no fixed abode has also been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Both men remain in police custody.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley police said: “A scene watch is in place and we would like to thank the public for their patience if this causes any inconvenience.
