Image released after assault at Dog and Gun

The incident happened early on Sunday morning
An image has been released of a man police would like to speak to after an assault at the Dog and Gun pub on Banbury’s North Bar last weekend.
On Sunday morning (May 1) a man entered the pub through the main doors at 12.28am. He hit another man in the head, knocking him to the floor. The offender then ran off towards People’s Park
The victim was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for assessment, but has since been discharged.
Thames Valley Police believe the man in the CCTV image may have vital information that could help with their enquiries.
Investigating officer PC Stuart Beard, based at Banbury police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch as we believe he may have information in connection with this incident.
