Wallet stolen from man in nineties

A couple distracted the elderly gentleman before taking his wallet
A man in his nineties had his wallet stolen by two people whilst he was shopping in Banbury last Saturday (May 21). He was in Wilko in Bridge Street at the time.
At around 11am the two offenders distracted the man and then stole his wallet, which had an amount of cash in it.
A CCTV image has been released by Thames Valley Police showing individuals they believe may have vital information regarding the theft.
Investigating officer PS Sarah Nash, based at Banbury police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the people in these images to please get in touch as we believe they may have information in connection with this incident.

“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
