Was car target of Bodicote burglary where just tobacco and cigarettes were taken?
08/06/2022
The break in on the Oxford Road happened during the early hours of Tuesday morning
A small amount of tobacco and cigarettes were taken during a burglary in Bodicote, but police suspect the high value vehicle parked outside was the item the thieves had intended taking.
Entry was made into the home on the Oxford Road opposite Longford Park between 12.20am and 12.40am yesterday morning (June 7). The suspects arrived in a vehicle which they parked in the layby outside, facing towards Banbury.
Four people are believed to have exited the vehicle. They approached the property and then forced the lock on the back door. A small amount of tobacco and cigarettes were stolen.
Thames Valley Police would like to hear from anyone who was passing the area between these times, who recalls any suspicious activity or vehicles parked in the layby. They would also like to see any relevant dashcam footage.
If you can help please call 101, quoting reference number 43220247396.
