Oxfordshire networking gets a buzz with Banbury mum’s at the helm
Two enterprising Banbury mums have made the leap and taken on the licence for all the Business Buzz networking franchises throughout Oxfordshire.
Lisa-Marie Mallier, who runs the strategic marketing company No Fluff Communications, has been running the successful Banbury Business Buzz monthly networking group. Lisa started discussing ways that she and another Banbury mum, Emma McGregor, could work together. They both struck on the idea of becoming more involved with Business Buzz throughout the county.
Lisa told Banbury FM, “I’ve been a fan of Business Buzz for a good number of years. It’s been a great way for me to be involved with my local business community here in Banbury. Emma is another mum from Banbury and we met each other through our children. We were looking for a business venture where we could work together”.
Attending a local diet club after having their children first introduced the two ladies, who will now launch a Business Buzz networking group in Chipping Norton as part of their joint venture.
Lisa told Banbury FM she and Emma will make great working partners: “We’ve been great friends since we had our children and our two boys are great friends too. Our skills compliment each other from a work perspective and we are excited to take it to the next level and work together”.

Business Buzz is described as “a fresh vibe in business networking”. Business people are invited to drop-in to an informal monthly meeting and catch up with other local business people. There is no membership requirement, no need to book before attending, and the monthly meeting costs just £5 on the door.
The new Chipping Norton Business Buzz will be held at The Chequers on Tuesday March 10th, between 10 and 12 noon. Entrepreneurs, business owners and key decision makers are invited to attend to make new connections.
The Chipping Norton Buzz will be the seventh Oxfordshire location for the networking organisation with Oxfordshire meetings already attracting over 700 regular attendees every month.
Banbury’s Business Buzz meetings take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month with February’s meeting happening today (26th February, 2020) between 10am and midday at The White Horse on North Bar.
