Police seek driver of a black car who failed to stop after road incident in Middleton Road
A cyclist remains in hospital after a collision with a black car on Tuesday on Middleton Road in Banbury. The incident happened close to the junction with West Street. The driver of the car failed to stop.
The cyclist received injuries to his arm, wrist and hip. The man, who is in his twenties, is still in hospital where he has been receiving treatment.
Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses following the collision which happened at around 7.15pm.
Investigating officer PC Dean O’Dell of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen this incident. The cyclist was injured and was just left at the scene.
“If you think you may know who the driver of the black vehicle is or you have information about this incident, please get in touch. “We would also like to speak to anyone who has CCTV or dash-cam footage in the area at the time”.
