Staff prove they’re not sheepish about rounding up animal intruders
Staff at Sibford School spotted an unusual site in their grounds last night (Tuesday) – a flock of stray sheep. A number of staff who live on site were involved in trying to round up the woolly intruders
The sheep were first noticed at around 7.15pm. They had escaped from a neighbouring field where a gate had been left open.
On site staff flocked to the scene of the invasion and attempted to round up the sheep. However, despite the chasing, the animals had no intention of leaving the school campus until they had taken in a complete lap of the 50 acre site.
Harriet Canavan. Marketing Manager at Sibford School, told Banbury FM, “Bill, who owns the sheep even had a go at chasing them back to their field at the grand age of 95! All [the] sheep eventually returned home safely, unharmed and it was great exercise for all the staff involved”.
