The winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner in September

The finalists for the Cherwell Business Awards 2022 have been announced.    There are ten categories this year, with the Overall Cherwell Winner Award selected from the finalists across all the categories.

The Retail Award finalists include Banbury Permanent Makeup of Church Lane and One Man Band, who are now based in Marley Way.   They are both up against Bicester based Refills by Beez.

David Cooper from One Man Band is also nominated in the Business Person of the Year category.   Mr Cooper was also nominated in this category in 2020.

Other categories include the Charity and Community Award, the Innovation Award and the New Business of the Year award.

The judging panel included the award sponsors, business people and charities.

Placi Espejo, one of the directors of the Cherwell Business Awards, said: “It was fantastic to see some familiar businesses applying for the awards as well as some very impressive and exciting businesses we haven’t come across previously.

“We are delighted to be back holding the award ceremony as a physical event again this year, particularly as it will be held within the district at the unique and iconic Bicester Motion. Thank you to everyone who applied and congratulations to all shortlisted finalists.”
