Players and officials from Banbury United Football Club will turn on the Christmas lights in Banbury this year. Members of the club will join town mayor Jayne Strangwood on stage in Bridge Street, by the bus station.
The switch-on, at 5pm, will follow an afternoon of fun with fairground rides, Santa’s grotto and local entertainers performing on stage.
A firework display will bring the event to a close.
