Banbury Michaelmas Fair runs from Wednesday 16th to Saturday 19th October, organised by Bob Wilson Fun Fairs.
The Fair will be officially opened at 4pm on Wednesday. A golden key will be used to give everyone present a free go and any rode touched.
The fair opens at midday on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Banbury’s history includes fairs dating back a number of centuries. These initially were held for local trade, job recruitment and recreation. A Charter was subsequently signed which included the provision to hold an event annually on the first Thursday after Old Michaelmas Day.
