Come and join the very talented young people of BodicoteChurch Youth Drama Group at Bishop Loveday school as they share this fantastic musical – if you don’t want to be one of the ‘Bad Guys’ you should ‘Be a Boxer’ and fight to get a ticket!
Bugsy Malone tells the story of two rival gangs in 1929 New York – Dandy Dan vs Fat Sam! Fat Sam runs the Grand Slam Speakeasy where Tallulah and the dancing girls entertain as Fat Sam runs his empire. When his gang start getting Splurged by Dan’s gang tensions build and Sam uses Bugsy Malone, a smooth talking man about town to help him.
Meanwhile Bugsy is trying to woo Blousey Brown, the new girl singer in town.
The gang warfare is battled by some incompetent police officers. Can Bugsy help save the day and get the girl?

Bodicote Church Youth Drama Group is one of the longest running local groups and this year marks their 30thAnniversary. The group is open to members from 8 – 18 who live in the OX15, OX16 or OX17 postcodes and currently has a waiting list for new members.
