The Burns Supper is an institution of Scottish life and a night to celebrate the life and works of the Scottish National Bard and follows a set format of events. Dress Code can be as formal or as informal as you wish…although I’m not sure about Tartan Speedo’s if I’m honest! If you’ve never experienced a Burns Night, you don’t want to miss out on a unique occasion of song, dance, food and the Amber Nectar.
There is a charge of £5 per head to cover the cost of the traditional Caledonian Bill O’ Fare. Newland House will open from 5pm in order that Supper can be served at 6pm. This means, if a traditional Burns Night Supper of Haggis wi’ Bashit Neeps an’ Champit Tatties is not for you, then you can still attend the evening post meal celebrations from 7pm onwards.
