Hook Norton’s D-Day 80th Anniversary
The Parish Council along with The Sun and The Gate Hangs High are hosting a street party on Saturday 8th of June, and the exciting schedule of events is here.
12pm – Event starts with a selection of stalls and Town Sparks kicking off the live music, plus 100 free children’s lunchboxes available for collection from The Sun. We also have an exclusive visit from the steam engine and fire engine.
3pm – The Vents start the afternoon’s live music, plus an egg and spoon race, and more fun games. Head to the library for kids crafts from 3-5pm
4pm – Enjoy a performance by the Morris dancers
5pm – The Raffle Draw
6pm – The street party is finished and cleared as the road will re-open at 6pm.
6.30pm – Don’t worry, the party doesn’t stop there, The Gate have put on Live Music from “The Fizzy Kisses” who will be bringing you all the best tunes and a sunset BBQ on for you all to enjoy.
There will be two shuttles running from The Sun to The Gate.
