Details
Start: | Wednesday 11/08/2021 at 3:30 pm |
---|---|
End: | 6:00 pm |
Location: | Bridge Street Garden, |
Address: | Banbury |
A seed bomb is a little ball made up of a combination of compost, newspaper, clay and seeds. The compost and clay act as a carrier for the seeds so they can be launched over walls or fences and into inaccessible areas such as wasteland or railways.
All materials will be provided free or charge, however small donations are welcome, to put towards the next workshop. All seeds have been harvested and dried by local volunteers.
Participants would be invited to take their wildflower seed bombs with them in order to guerrilla plant bee friendly flowers around Banbury.
This event has been put together by Banbury Community Action Group, Bridge Street Community Garden, Banbury Trees, Banbury Woodcraft Folk, and XR Families.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
