Hornton will have at least seven gardens and the village allotments open on Sunday 4 July. The participating gardens feature new and established plantings, ponds and water features, and cottage gardens as well as vegetable gardens and beautiful views.
Proceeds will be shared equally between Katharine House Hospice and village causes.
The parish church and Methodist Chapel will be open to visitors. Teas and a plant stall will be available at The Cottage in Church Lane and the Dun Cow pub will also be open.
There is a trail/quiz on the village website – no village or insider knowledge is needed!
An entry ticket costing £5 can be purchased on the village Green in the centre of the village.
Parking is available at the Pavilion Car Park off Bell Street at the Wroxton end of the village and also in the village. Please park considerately.
Accessibility: the village is hilly. Most of the gardens have steps and would be difficult to access with a wheelchair although some are partially accessible.
Dogs must be kept on a lead.
Hornton is off the A422 near Upton House (National Trust) and is 5 miles from Banbury and about 10 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon.
This is a cash only event.
