A special concert is set to take place at All Saints Church, Wroxton to celebrate the completion of a major refurbishment of its historic Halmshaw organ.
The instrument has been fully restored and is said to both look and sound “absolutely wonderful,” at a time when many church organs across the country are in need of repair.
The inaugural concert will be performed by renowned organist Keith Hearnshaw, known for his engaging and entertaining style.
The restoration work was carried out by organ builder Richard Young, who will also give a short talk and demonstration about the instrument during the event.
