Deddington and District History Society presents RAF Brize Norton – Over 80 years of flying operations
This talk by Trevor Jackson will offer a rare chance to learn about Britain’s largest RAF base Brize Norton. He will cover events from the early days in 1937 and through World War II, including the roles of the base in D-Day and Arnhem, the Cold War, and right through to current-day conflicts.
