The Sulgrave Club’s first speaker evening of the year features Sulgrave resident Richard McCrow, who will present a powerful first-hand account of patrolling the streets of West Belfast during the Northern Ireland Troubles 50 years ago.
A former Platoon Commander with the 1st Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, Richard combines personal photographs, diary entries and archival news footage to bring daily life during the conflict vividly to life.
Tickets: £10 (includes a reception wine).
