Voters in North Oxfordshire had their say in the 2023 Local Elections
Voters visited Polling Stations across the Cherwell District on Thursday May 4 with one-third of the seats on Cherwell District Council being up for election. Votes were counted at Spiceball Sports Centre on Friday May 5.

The battle for control of Cherwell District Council
Ahead of the election the Conservatives controlled Cherwell District Council with 25 of the 48 seats. Following the 2023 results any party, or alliance of parties, which holds more than 24 seats will be able to take control of the Council and its agenda.
