13-year-old arrested after stolen car spotted being driven dangerously

A thirteen-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a car from a Banbury driveway. The youngster was caught, with two others boys in the car, after it was spotted being driven dangerously.
The vehicle was reported to the police as being stolen on Thursday night.
The vehicle was seen a number of times on Friday by members of the public, who noted it driving dangerously. At 11am Thames Valley Police received a call after the stolen car was spotted on Longford Park Road in Bodicote.
A police team was despatched and an area search conducted, which resulted in the vehicle being stopped. A thirteen-year-old boy was in the driver’s seat and two other young boys in the car as passengers.
The driver was arrested for Theft of Motor Vehicle and is currently in custody. The other two boys were taken home to their parents.
