A 15-year-old boy was arrested yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) as a week of Operation Sceptre patrols to tackle knife crime continues.
The arrest was made by the Banbury Neighbourhood Policing Team following an incident in Banbury Town Centre.
The boy was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.
He remained in Police custody yesterday evening.
