A man has been charged in connection with the stabbing in People’s Park in Banbury late on Sunday evening.
18-year-old Alex Luszczkiewicz of Calthorpe Road in town has been charged with one count each of attempted murder and possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place today.
He’s been remanded in custody and will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
Yesterday Thames Valley police said they had arrested an 18-year-old man and 14-year-old boy as they investigated the case, which saw an 18-year-old male victim receive a single stab wound to his torso.
