60 year old man loses his life after collision with an HGV
A collision between a motor bike and a lorry on the A361 has resulted in a 60 year old male losing his life. The accident happened at around 3pm on Monday (20th July).
At the time a green and white Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling towards Banbury from Wardington Mill. It collided with a white HGV lorry heading in the opposite direction.
The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and his family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Investigating officer PC Liam Calvert, based at the Roads Policing base in Bicester said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident.
“If you saw the vehicles before the collision, or have dash-cam footage from the area at the time, please get in touch”.
