Man suffers head injury after fight outside Venus nightclub

Police seek man after early hours altercation in town centre
A fight between a group of men in Banbury led to one needing hospital treatment for a head injury. The fight involved between 8 and 11 men.
It happened outside the Venus night club near the junction of Broad Street and George Street in town at approximately 2.55am last Saturday (5th September).
As a result of the fight one of the men, aged in his early 20s, suffered a cut to his eye and a minor head injury. He was dealt with at the Horton General Hospital but has since been discharged.
Thames Valley Police now is appealing for witnesses. They are seeking a white man aged in his early 20s with dark short hair.
Investigating officer PC Bethany Foster, based at Banbury police station, said: “As a result of this fight, one of the men was left with a head injury which required hospital treatment.
“I am aware that there were many members of the public at the scene when police arrived, and I am appealing to anybody who witnessed what happened and have not already spoken to us, to please get in touch.
“If anybody captured the fight or any part of the incident on camera or dash-cam, please check this and contact us if you have any information.”
