London men arrested in Banbury on suspicion of drugs offences

Arrests made in Woodgreen Avenue and a Closure Notice placed on a property in Gillett Road
Two men from London have been arrested in Banbury on suspicion of drugs offences. After the arrests were made a closure notice was placed on a property in Gillett Road.
The two males, aged 23 and 18, were arrested in Woodgreen Avenue. The arrests were made on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and possession of Class A and B drugs. Police suspect the drugs are a mix of Heroin wraps & Crack Cocaine wraps.
Following the arrests Thames Valley Police placed a ‘Closure Notice’ on an address in Gillett Road. The Closure Notice states, “Having reasonable grounds to suspect that the use of the premises has resulted, or (if the notice is not issued) is likely soon to result, in nuisance to members of the public, or that is had been, or (if the issue is not issued) is likely soon to be, disorder near these premises associated with the use of these premises, and that the notice is necessary to prevent the nuisance or disorder from continuing, recurring or occurring.”
The application for the Closure Notice will be made at Oxford Magistrates Court this morning (Friday).
