The ‘Tell Your Story Festival’ is running after Easter and is free to join
Youngsters looking to get their voices heard and their skills seen are being invited to join a two week online and in-person festival. The Cherwell Theatre Company’s latest project the ‘Tell Your Story Festival’ is running after Easter and is free to join.
The festival will run in two parts. The first part will take place online from 12 –17 April. Then, with COVID restrictions set to ease further over the coming weeks, the second part of the course will be held from 31 May – 5 June. This will include COVID secure outdoor performances.
During the festival young people will be able to join open rehearsal sessions, collaborating with professionals to create and stage their original work. This will be followed by weekend showcases.
A number of different professional artists will be joining the festival to help youngsters find their voice, be heard and discover new skills. The Choreographer and Movement Director Natalie Haslam is one of those who will be on hand to help local youngsters.
