Inspirational man completes challenge to raise money for struggling families
Nine struggling families will today benefit from the fund-raising efforts of a man who spent the Easter period walking around Banbury dressed as the Easter bunny. Prabhu Natarajan, from Bretch Hill, walked from dawn till dusk in the rabbit costume, around town and some of the surrounding villages.
In total he walked around 50 miles, handing out goodies and bringing smiles to faces as he went.
Mr Natarajan has now completed his challenge, having smashed through his £4,500 target.
Today will see the funds start being distributed amongst nine struggling families.
Mr Natarajan said: “My sincere thanks for each and everyone who donated, supported, shared and prayed for our fundraising. The only reason for the success is the trust you people showed in a man who is new to UK.”
