Arrests made and drugs and cash seized after early morning warrant executions
Three Banbury properties were targeted by police during a simultaneous drugs related operation in Ruscote this morning. Five people were arrested with others being interviewed. Drugs and cash have been seized.
Two properties in Evenlode and a third in Ferriston had Misuse of Drugs Act warrants carried out just after 7am.
At one address in Ferriston cannabis was seized and officers found a man who was wanted for Disqualified Driving and a Public Order offence. He has been charged with disqualified driving and driving without insurance and follows an incident on May 12. He he will appear in court on June 29.
In Evenlode a significant amount of cash was seized from a property. A 23 year old female is being interviewed in respect to offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
At another property in Evenlode cocaine was seized. Two males, aged 31 and 21, and two females, aged 38 and 23, were arrested for being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
