A-Level results: Warriner School
17/08/2023
“This set of results truly reflects our students hard work, resilience, and commitment to their studies”
Warriner school students, parents and staff have been celebrating this year’s A-Level results.
Amongst them one student, James, achieved three A*.
Across the country this year’s results had been expected to fall back to the pre-pandemic level of 2019. At Warriner the 2023 results have significantly exceeded the 2019 results with top grades passes (A*-A) increasing by 10%.
Following today’s results the students are heading off on apprenticeships and courses in areas such as criminology, neuroscience, engineering and historical archaeology. Others have selected subjects such as animation and law, alongside the more traditional sciences, humanities, maths and English.
Executive Headteacher, Annabel Kay and Head of School, Sharon Nicholls said: “This set of results truly reflects our students hard work, resilience, and commitment to their studies. They have had such a challenging few years and all can be so proud of what they have achieved.
“We must also thank the sixth form staff who have given so freely of their time and expertise to support our students.”
