Adderbury strongman appears on live Channel 4 show
02/03/2024
Paddy rolls up frying pan whilst proving eating an ice-cream can be manly!
Adderbury Strongman Paddy Haynes was a special guest on Channel’s Four’s topical comedy show The Last Leg on Friday evening.
During the show, which is filmed at studios in Elstree, hosts Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker discussed American criticism of President Joe Biden for eating an ice cream in public. Some commentators claimed it didn’t look “manly”!
Adam then invited Paddy, who is England’s strongest man, to join them to prove that eating an ice cream can be done in a manly way.
Paddy completed what the host described as “his party trick” of bending and rolling up a metal frying pan. At the same time he had to devour an ice cream, held by co-host Josh Widdicombe.
The challenge took less than 15 seconds to complete with the audience cheering on Paddy’s performance.
Other guests on The Last Leg watching Paddy were comedians Jo Brand, Eshaan Akbar and Tanyalee Davis.
