Alfie tracks down the Halloween monsters and bags a Nintendo Switch
06/11/2024
The annual competition was organised by Banbury BID
A Banbury youngster is now the proud owner of a brand new Nintendo Switch after he was crowned the winner of Banbury BID’s Halloween Monster Trail.
Ten-year-old Hill View Primary School pupil Alfie was randomly selected from all the correct entries received. He also won a number of Mario games goodies, supplied by HMV in the Castle Quay Shopping Centre.
Over 400 entries were submitted by people who searched out the cleverly disguised monsters which were hidden in shop windows.
A spokesperson for Banbury BID said: “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the local businesses that participated and supported this event, making it possible for the community to come together in celebration.”
Another competition will be launching for town centre visitors soon: the Trees for Christmas will see one lucky person walking away with an iPad.
